Education and Training
Originally from Long Island, NY, Dr. Oberg's journey includes service in the United States Marine Corps before pursuing a medical education. He earned his undergraduate degree in Molecular and Cellular Biology from the University of Arizona and his medical degree from the University of Arizona College of Medicine.
Dr. Oberg completed his residency training in ophthalmology at the John A. Moran Eye Center at the University of Utah, where he received an award for distinguished research. His dedication led him to fellowship training in oculofacial plastic surgery at the Center for Facial Appearances in Salt Lake City, UT. Since then, he has specialized in eyelid and facial plastic surgery.

Dr. Oberg's Personal Side
When not helping patients, Dr. Oberg enjoys spending time camping, fishing, and exploring nature with his wife and two children. A recent online quiz revealed Dr. Oberg's playful side, showing he is a combination of Hufflepuff and Gryffindor!
Our Practice
Functional Procedures
Dr. Oberg's practice encompasses the management of facial and orbital trauma and fractures, skin cancer reconstruction surgery, orbital surgery (including tumor resection), tear drain surgery, and surgery on the brow or eyelids to address impaired vision.
Reconstructive and Cosmetic Surgery
Beyond functional procedures, Dr. Oberg specializes in reconstructive and cosmetic surgery of the eyelids and face. This includes cosmetic brow and eyelid surgery, as well as facelift surgery to restore a youthful appearance.
Non-Surgical Options
In addition to surgical options, Dr. Oberg offers non-surgical treatments to enhance natural beauty and reduce the signs of aging. This includes treatment with injectables (Botox, Xeomin, Kybella, and Dysport) and fillers (Radiesse, Voluma, Juvederm, Belotero, Restylane, and Perlane).
Improving Quality of Life
Dr. Oberg takes a special interest in improving the quality of life for his patients by utilizing surgery or injectables to alleviate the symptoms of chronic medical conditions such as migraine, blepharospasm, and facial dystonias. Surgical Coordinator and Billing Specialist
Joining our team in 2018, Alex is Still Canyon's Surgical Coordinator and Billing Specialist. Detail-oriented, hardworking, and skilled in organization, Alex graduated from the University of Utah with a degree in Kinesiology. Married to her best friend, Sam, Alex enjoys traveling, cooking, baking, and decorating sugar cookies in her free time. She is also a proud mom to the world's cutest boy!
Shayla
Technician/Medical Assistant
Shayla joined the Still Canyon team in early 2021 as a Technician/Medical Assistant. A psychology graduate from the University of Utah, Shayla loves camping and fishing with her husband, Weston. Her direct interaction with Dr. Oberg's patients adds a personalized touch to the team.
Lucy
Technician/Medical Assistant
Lucy joined Still Canyon in 2022 as a Technician/Medical Assistant. Currently a student at Salt Lake Community College, Lucy will soon begin the nursing program. Her passion for art, dancing, cooking, and the outdoors, combined with her strong work ethic, makes her a valuable addition to the team.

Grace joined Still Canyon in 2023 as a Technician/Medical Assistant. Originally from Idaho, Grace is not only a valuable team member but also a licensed aesthetician and mom to two beautiful girls.
MargJustinn (Marg)
Technician/Medical Assistant
Making the move from Florida in 2020, Marg joined our team in the summer of the same year as a Technician/Medical Assistant. Marg enjoys hiking, being outdoors, and volunteering at the animal shelter. She brings a light-hearted and fun atmosphere to the workplace, making patients and coworkers smile and laugh each day.
Jeanette
Front Desk and Billing
Joining the team in 2023, Jeanette works at the front desk and assists with billing for the office. A talented photographer, dog lover, and mom to a beautiful and lively family, Jeanette adds warmth and efficiency to our administrative team.
Bitia
Front Desk Receptionist
Bitia became part of our team in May 2021 as our Front Desk Receptionist. Currently studying Biology with a minor in Chemistry at the University of Utah, Bitia aspires to attend medical school in the future. In her free time, she enjoys kayaking, roller skating, or simply relaxing and watching a movie.

Licensed Master Aesthetician
Charlie, our in-house licensed master aesthetician, focuses on bringing healthy skin to our clients through services like facials, microdermabrasion, and lymph drainage massage. With a unique ability to make clients feel relaxed and focused on total skin health, Charlie is available for appointments at Skin Care Charlie.
